These Terms and Conditions govern all puppy listings, reservations, deposits, purchases, delivery arrangements, and services provided by United Puppies (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the Buyer (“Customer,” “Applicant,” or “Purchaser”).

By submitting an application, placing a deposit, purchasing a puppy, or using our website, you agree to the following terms.

GENERAL TERMS & ADOPTION PROCESS

Business Overview

United Puppies has proudly operated for 7 years, connecting families with happy, healthy puppies raised by responsible breeders.

We:

  • Partner only with approved breeders who meet our standards
  • Require breeders to complete a detailed application before listing puppies
  • Ensure puppies are examined by licensed veterinarians
  • Guarantee puppies go home vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped
  • Offer delivery options throughout the United States

United Puppies reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion.

Puppy Listings & Availability

All puppies listed on our website:

  • Are subject to availability
  • May be removed or marked reserved without notice
  • Are represented as accurately as possible

Photos are of the actual puppy unless otherwise stated. Minor variations in size, coat shade, or appearance may occur.

A puppy is not considered reserved until a deposit has been received and confirmed.

Application Process

To begin adoption:

  1. Buyer must complete the official application form.
  2. Applications are reviewed for suitability.
  3. Approval is required before a deposit can be accepted.

United Puppies may deny applications if the home environment is deemed unsuitable.

Deposits & Purchase Terms

  • Deposits are required to reserve a puppy.
  • Deposits are generally non-refundable unless the Company cancels the sale.
  • Full payment must be completed prior to delivery or pickup.

Failure to submit final payment within the agreed timeframe may result in forfeiture of the deposit and release of the puppy for sale.

All pricing is listed in U.S. Dollars.

HEALTH GUARANTEE & BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES

Health Standards

Every puppy goes home:

  • Vaccinated (age appropriate)
  • Dewormed
  • Microchipped
  • Examined by a licensed veterinarian

Health records are provided at the time of delivery.

Limited Health Guarantee

United Puppies provides a limited health guarantee covering congenital or hereditary conditions.

To qualify:

  • Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt.
  • Written documentation must be provided.

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Stress-related conditions from travel
  • Minor parasites that are treatable
  • Illness caused by neglect or improper care
  • Injuries after transfer of ownership

United Puppies reserves the right to request a second veterinary opinion.

Remedies may include replacement puppy or refund at Company discretion, not exceeding the purchase price.

Buyer Responsibilities

By purchasing a puppy, Buyer agrees to:

  • Provide proper nutrition, shelter, and veterinary care
  • Follow vaccination schedules
  • Comply with all local and state animal ownership laws
  • Not resell the puppy to pet stores or brokers
  • Not use the puppy for illegal breeding operations

Ownership transfers upon delivery or pickup.

Breeder Standards

All breeders must:

  • Complete a detailed approval process
  • Comply with Ohio state laws
  • Follow USDA regulations where applicable
  • Provide veterinary documentation

United Puppies reserves the right to remove breeder listings at any time.

DELIVERY, CANCELLATIONS & LIMITATIONS

Delivery & Transportation

United Puppies offers delivery across the United States through:

  • Ground transportation
  • Flight nanny services
  • Airport pickup

Shipping costs are disclosed before purchase.

United Puppies is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions
  • Airline disruptions
  • Transportation delays
  • Circumstances beyond reasonable control

Risk transfers to Buyer upon delivery.

Cancellations

If Buyer cancels after deposit:

  • Deposit is non-refundable.

If cancellation occurs after transportation arrangements or veterinary preparation:

  • Buyer may be responsible for related expenses.

Custom preparation and reserved puppies cannot be returned unless approved under health guarantee terms.

Inspection & Acceptance

Buyer must examine the puppy upon receipt.

Any visible health concerns must be reported within 24 hours.

Failure to notify within required timeframe constitutes acceptance.

Limitation of Liability

United Puppies’ liability shall not exceed the total purchase price paid.

We are not liable for:

  • Veterinary expenses beyond guarantee terms
  • Emotional distress
  • Loss of income
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Actions of third-party breeders or transport providers

LEGAL TERMS & GOVERNING LAW

Website Use

All website content including images, logos, text, and branding remains the property of United Puppies.

Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

Users may not:

  • Submit false applications
  • Attempt fraud
  • Misuse website functionality

All official communication must be in writing via:

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall:

  • Be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio
  • Be filed in courts located in Holmes County, Ohio

Parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation before litigation.

Force Majeure

United Puppies is not liable for delays or failure due to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Transportation interruptions
  • Government restrictions
  • Labor shortages
  • Supply chain disruptions

Indemnification

Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless United Puppies from claims arising from:

  • Improper care after transfer
  • Violations of local animal laws
  • Injuries caused by the puppy after delivery

Modifications to Terms

United Puppies may update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of deposit shall govern the transaction.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with any written health guarantee or purchase agreement, constitute the entire agreement between parties.

No verbal agreements supersede written documentation.
